I can’t do a stinkin’ crop on a simple photograph with this new version. I’ve tried different order for the disks. I’ve tried it with everywhere from 1 to 4 scratch disks. I have renamed the prefs.psp file and tried it without ANY scratch disks. The system has an AMD 2600+ cpu and 1GB of real memory. They have respectively, 61GB, 23GB, 17 GB, and 3GB of free space… Yes, GIGABYTES… And NONE of them is the disk on which Photoshop is installed. Second, I have 4 scratch disks specified. I’ve done color correction and other basic operations on it, including resizing it for the screen by setting it to 72 ppi and 1122X768. I upgraded to CS and suddenly I"m having a problem cropping. I apologize in advance if this is a "Duh!" thing you’ve already looked at. I am a neophyte, so feel free to follow someone else’s advice, but.ĭid you go to Edit > Preferences > Plug-ins and Scratch Disks to verify the scratch disks are recognized as such? I have no experience with versions prior to CS, so I don’t know if this is something new to CS and I don’t know if the upgrade process carries you previous setting over. Those things where I have to nuke the installation and try again? Has ANYBODY seen this problem? Or is this another one of I can’t find any information on this problem in goggle or any of the knowledgeīases I’ve found. "Could not complete your request because the scratch disks are full."įirst, I only have 1 photo open. Resizing it for the screen by setting it to 72 ppi and 1122X768. I’ve done color correction and other basic operations on it, including OK, this one has me at a complete standstill…….
